Communities without washrooms face higher risks of waterborne diseases and sanitation-related illnesses, perpetuating cycles of poverty and hardship.&nbsp; ﻿Over 3.6 billion people worldwide lack access to safely managed sanitation facilities, with rural areas in Africa and South Asia being the hardest hit.&nbsp;
