Echoes of Revelation: Showing Mercy to Orphans

Embark with us on a beautiful evening of Qur'an and tilawah in Dallas on Saturday, June 20. Every verse we hear is a reminder, and one of the most repeated reminders in the Qur'an is the care of orphans. Join us in supporting them through this effort.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be like this in Paradise," and he held his index and middle fingers together. (Bukhari)

The Qur'an commands the care of orphans more than twenty times. The Prophet ﷺ himself was an orphan, given refuge by Allah and raised under His mercy. When the Qur'an is recited, those commands echo again, into our ears, into our homes, into our hands. Echoes of Revelation comes to Dallas on June 20, with Qari Ibrahim Bakeer, Shaykh Hassan Saleh, and Dr. Ahmed Neinaa. The recitation is the call. Sponsoring an orphan is the answer insha'Allah.

HHRD supports over 28,500 registered orphans across 19 countries and 3 refugee populations. Nearly 8,000 children are still waiting for a sponsor, children who have lost one or both parents to conflict, disaster, poverty, and displacement.

For $50/month ($600/year), one sponsorship covers:
