<h1>Gaza. 500 Qurbani. This Eid.</h1><h1> </h1>The Prophet ﷺ said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days." (Bukhari) The Prophet ﷺ said: "There is no deed dearer to Allah during the days of sacrifice than the shedding of blood. The sacrificed animal shall come on the Day of Judgment with its horns, hair, and hooves. Indeed, the blood reaches its station with Allah before it reaches the ground. So be content with it." (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah) The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are the most beloved days of the year to Allah. Our goal: 500 Qurbani goats for the families of Gaza, where the population has endured famine and destruction for months. For most of the families receiving these meals, the meat from Qurbani will be the first proper meal they have eaten in a very long time. <h1>What Your Qurbani Provides</h1>Because of the current access constraints in Gaza, live animals cannot be slaughtered on the ground inside the strip. HHRD's Qurbani for Gaza is carried out the way most major relief organizations operate there today: animals are slaughtered outside Gaza. The meat is then processed, canned, and shipped through humanitarian corridors into Gaza, where local partners distribute it to widows, orphans, displaced families, and households without reliable food access.
