One Hospital. Zero Refusals.
Join us in Charlotte on Saturday, August 16 as we unveil KIND-R, the largest neurological and rehabilitation hospital in Pakistan, with cricketing legend Younis Khan.
The Prophet ο·Ί said: "Whoever relieves a believer of one of the hardships of this world, Allah will relieve him of one of the hardships of the Day of Resurrection." (Muslim)
Pakistan has over 7 million people living with disabilities and, until December 2025, not a single comprehensive specialized neuro-rehab center to serve them. KIND-R changed that. In its first five months, the hospital treated more than 28,000 patients, with daily visits growing tenfold from 40 to over 400. Every service is free. No patient is turned away. The Unveiling KIND-R Tour brings Younis Khan to Charlotte to introduce this hospital to our community and sustain its first full year of operations.

The Rehabilitation Crisis
- 7 million+ Pakistanis living with disabilities
- 70% of districts lack any rehabilitation center
- Zero comprehensive specialized neuro-rehab centers in the entire country
- 2.65% annual disability growth rate
For a stroke patient in Karachi, a child with cerebral palsy in Quetta, a worker who lost mobility to a traumatic injury, specialized neurological rehabilitation has not existed in Pakistan at scale. Until now.
KIND-R: Pakistan's Largest Neurological Hospital and Rehab Center
We're excited to share KIND-R Hospital (Karachi Institute of Neurological Diseases & Rehabilitation), a project of HHRD, and the largest neurological and rehabilitation center in Pakistan. KIND-R is treating over 400 patients a day, free of cost, offering neurology consultations, rehab therapies, and diagnostics that most of them simply cannot find anywhere else. In just a few months, daily visits have grown tenfold, and KIND-R has already served more than 28,000 patients. We'd love for your community to continue building this legacy with us.
The hospital brings consultant clinics, rehabilitation therapies, and allied diagnostics together under one 42,000 square foot roof in Sohrab Goth, Karachi:
Consultant Clinics: Neurology, Pediatric Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Rheumatology, Pain Management, Cardiology, ENT, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Dietetics and Nutrition, Endocrinology, Psychiatry.
Rehabilitation Therapies: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Neuropsychology, Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Allied Diagnostics: Digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, EEG, EMG, Echo, Neurophysiology Lab, Pathology Lab, Pharmacy Services, Audiology Department.
Every service is provided free of cost. No patient is turned away regardless of their ability to pay.
Where Your Gift Goes
KIND-R needs $1.2 million to sustain its first full year of operations, with 50,000 to 60,000 patients expected through its doors in 2026. Across the full mix of consultations, therapies, diagnostics, and medications, the average cost of sustaining one patient visit is $20. Some patients need an MRI and a course of physical therapy. Others need a single consultation. Every visit is free at the point of care, and every dollar given keeps that model running.
